These terms are the agreement between you and Viewlio (“Viewlio”, “we”, “us”) for your use of the Viewlio web application, website, APIs and related services. By creating an account, connecting a YouTube channel, uploading files, starting an analysis, buying a plan or otherwise using Viewlio, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
Viewlio is a creator workflow for YouTube channels. It can list and search your own videos, read YouTube metadata, captions and audience analytics, analyse retention curves, identify drops, gains and holds, evaluate hooks, pacing, scripts, thumbnails and packaging, generate saved tips and checklists, compare two analysed videos, summarise channel trends, and create pre-publication video plans from uploaded footage, title options and thumbnail options.
Some features are lightweight analyses based on YouTube API data. Others are deep-analysis or planning workflows that require uploaded source files, extracted frames and audio, OCR, transcription, proxy generation, AI processing and background jobs. Features, limits and processing behavior may differ by plan.
You need a Google account to sign in and use YouTube-connected features. You must be at least 16, provide accurate information, keep your account secure, and be authorised to use the Google account, YouTube channel, videos, source files, thumbnails, titles and other materials you submit. You are responsible for activity under your account. Do not share credentials, bypass access controls or resell access unless we have agreed to it in writing.
Viewlio uses YouTube API Services. You may connect only channels and videos that you own or are authorised to manage. By using YouTube-connected features, you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google’s handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
Viewlio requests read access for your YouTube channel, YouTube Analytics and captions so it can provide the service. We do not post, edit or delete anything on YouTube. You can revoke Viewlio’s access at any time from Google security settings. Revocation may prevent YouTube-based features from working and does not automatically delete data already stored in Viewlio.
Your channel data, videos, source files, thumbnails, titles, drafts, saved tips, feedback and other submitted material remain yours or your licensors’. You grant Viewlio a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, copy, store, transcode, extract, analyse, display and otherwise process that material only as needed to provide, secure, support and improve Viewlio, comply with law, and enforce these terms.
You must have all rights and permissions needed for material you upload or ask us to analyse. Do not upload unlawful content, malware, confidential material you are not allowed to use, or content that infringes someone else’s rights or would put Viewlio, Google, YouTube, Stripe, OpenAI, Qencode, Supabase, Vercel or our storage providers in breach of their terms.
Viewlio uses deterministic processing and AI models to generate reports, scores, classifications, comparisons, plans and recommendations. Output is informational and editorial in nature. It can be incomplete, inaccurate, out of date or unsuitable for your specific audience, strategy or obligations. Viewlio does not guarantee views, retention, subscribers, revenue, channel growth, platform treatment or any other result.
You are responsible for reviewing output and deciding whether to use it. Subject to your compliance with these terms, you may use Viewlio-generated output for your own content and business, including commercially. We may use aggregated or de-identified product and performance information to operate and improve the service, but we do not publish your private content or use it to train general-purpose AI models.
You agree not to:
Viewlio depends on third-party services including Google/YouTube, Supabase, Vercel, Stripe, OpenAI, Qencode and object-storage providers. Their services may be interrupted, changed or unavailable, and their own terms and policies may apply to your use of related features. We are not responsible for third-party services that we do not control.
We aim to keep Viewlio available, but we do not promise uninterrupted service, fixed processing times or permanent availability of any feature. Processing time can vary with video length, file size, queue depth, API availability, model availability and third-party systems. We may add, change, suspend, limit or discontinue features. If we discontinue a paid service entirely, we will provide reasonable notice where practical and handle any required refund according to applicable law.
You can stop using Viewlio at any time and may contact us to close your account. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, fail to pay, create legal, security or operational risk, misuse credits or uploads, infringe rights, or use Viewlio in a way that could harm us, other users or our providers. On termination, your right to use the service ends and we handle stored data as described in our Privacy Policy.
Viewlio is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose, satisfactory quality and non-infringement. We are not liable for lost profits, lost revenue, lost views, lost subscribers, lost data, lost goodwill, business interruption, platform changes, editorial decisions, or indirect or consequential loss.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for all claims in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us for Viewlio in that period, or £50 if you used only a free plan. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Nothing affects statutory rights that cannot be waived.
We may update these terms as Viewlio, our providers or legal requirements change. The date at the top shows the current version. Material changes will be notified in the app, by email or through another reasonable method. Continuing to use Viewlio after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer somewhere else, you keep any mandatory protections provided by your local law.
